Seddon School

Situated in the semi-rural area of the Awatere, Seddon School is a full primary school (years 1 to 8) with a decile rating of 5. It has a strong sense of identity and is the centre point of the community.  Seddon School provides students with an extensive range of academic, high quality teaching, sporting and cultural activities to cater for individual interests and abilities. Trustees, teachers, leaders and students promote a safe, positive and active environment. Students with special needs are well included and supported.

Seddon School is supported by ‘Friends of Seddon’ parent group through social and fundraising activities and other events. Seddon School also has a collaborative partnership with the Awatere Early Learning Centre and the Awatere Playcentre which assists student’s successful transition to Seddon School.
